Tokenization is expanding across traditional asset classes. Bonds, commodities, and money market funds have already gained traction onchain, and U.S. stocks and ETFs are now a growing part of the same real-world asset (RWA) market.
Traditional equity investing, however, still typically involves significant friction: opening and funding a separate brokerage account, meeting eligibility requirements, and managing stocks separately from the rest of your onchain assets.
Now, that access is coming to Bitget Wallet with the integration of Reality Protocol .

What is Reality?

Reality is Bitget's compliant real-world asset (RWA) issuance platform behind rTokens. The platform issues tokenized representations of U.S. stocks and ETFs onchain, while the corresponding underlying securities are held through regulated brokerage and custody infrastructure.
This structure lets traditional securities be represented and traded on blockchain networks without requiring you to hold the underlying shares through a traditional brokerage account.
Within Bitget Wallet, Reality is integrated into the Stocks market alongside other tokenized-equity providers, including xStocks and Ondo, giving you more ways to access U.S. market exposure onchain.

What is an rToken?

An rToken is an onchain token issued by Reality that provides economic exposure to a corresponding U.S. stock or ETF. For example, rAAPL provides exposure to Apple stock, while rQQQ provides exposure to the Invesco QQQ ETF.
Each rToken is backed 1:1 by the corresponding underlying security. These securities are held through Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered U.S. broker-dealer, while Reality's reserves are independently verified through daily Proof of Reserves attestations.
Holding an rToken is different from directly owning the underlying share. rToken holders are not registered shareholders and do not receive shareholder voting rights.

Why trade rTokens on Bitget Wallet?

Bitget Wallet brings Reality's tokenized U.S. market access into the same self-custodial wallet you already use for your digital assets. Built-in cross-chain routing lets you trade rTokens from supported onchain assets without manually moving funds between networks, while keeping your rTokens alongside the rest of your portfolio.
  • Broad market access: Trade  U.S. stocks and ETFs on Bitget Wallet, each backed 1:1 by its corresponding underlying security held with FINRA-registered U.S. brokers. Reserve backing is independently verified through daily Proof of Reserves attestations.
  • U.S. market-linked liquidity: Access underlying U.S. market liquidity, including Nasdaq and NYSE.
  • Cross-chain routing: Buy rTokens using supported assets across networks. Bitget Wallet automatically handles the required swaps and cross-chain routing to buy rTokens on Morph or Arbitrum, selecting the most cost-efficient available route.
  • Flexible trading: Trade fractionally using market or limit orders. 24/7 trading is supported on selected rTokens.
  • Synced corporate actions: Receive eligible cash dividends in USDT, with corporate actions automatically handled for you.

2. Place your order

  • Choose either a Market or Limit order.
  • For market orders, enter the amount you want to trade and select an eligible payment token. Where supported, Bitget Wallet automatically routes your trade through the most cost-efficient cross-chain path if your payment asset is held on another network.
  • For limit orders, enter your preferred execution price. Limit orders require USDT on the same network as the selected rToken.

How the Bitget Wallet Brand has Evolved
Eight years ago, Bitget Wallet looked very different. Different name, different logo, different reason for existing. It started in 2018 as BitKeep, a multi-chain wallet for crypto-native users and then became Bitget Wallet in 2023 as the product grew into a broader Web3 platform. And three years aft
